Over the years, living in Colorado, we got to meet Reb Shmuel Aizik and got to know some of the family. We were impressed to see a regal, sharp, upbeat man who came from the earliest generation of the Tmimim in America, a real Tziyur of a Chassid!
Additionally, over time we got to know some of the branches of the family and we noticed that they all have a real passion for Yiddishkeit, Chassidishkeit and the Rebbe's Mivtzoim, every undertaking done with a look at the details and in a meticulous manner. This is the example that Rabbi and Mrs. Popack gave to their family and the legacy that the grandchildren, great grandchildren and more to continue.
A few months ago, in Kislev, I had a conversation with Rabbi Shmuel Isaac Popack and he expressed a lot of pride on the actions of Rabbi Popack in Colorado and Rivi and Mrs. Popack's work in organizing and persevering with the yearly Nshei Conventions.
May he be a gutte Better for the whole family and may the family continue to follow his positive ways, Mah Zaroh Bichayim af hu bichayim.
